Not what I expected.

I'm glad that I purchased this item when it was on sale for $10. It is made from a very cheap looking plastic and reminds me of something that I could have purchased in a Dollar Store. It is a different item, but not worth the price.

I did not like having to look at my basic clock, while th rest of the room was decorated for Halloween. So I was very excited in getting this clock. For the price, the material was okay, just plastic. The two problems I had with this was that the pendulum would not swing as fast as the picture looks, I ended up fixing this by pushing the top of the clock away from the wall. But at times the pendulum would slow down again. It took a while to fix this. The second was that I had a hard time telling the time because the numbers were very faint.

Excellent Item

This could be used year round if you wanted. The numbers and hands are pretty hard to see as you can probably tell from the picture. I just painted over the numbers and hands with white and it is much better. Definitely worth it once simple touch-up is done.
