The price of these could not be beat @ $5! I found them to be VERY COOL! and a perfect ceiling hanging touch! I ordered 5 and hung them randomly for a Masquerade Ball with a phantom of the opera backdrop. I spent a silly amount of money on gold material trying to make a "Chandelier"... I wish I had just bought MANY MANY more of these for the candled out look. I added glitter to the flames for extra sparkle.. There is a little tab for helping keep it open, but not well enough... a quick piece of tape kept them open fine. I recommend for sure!

Needs Some Help

While the concept is fun regardless, this product could have been better made. As other reviews indicated, it is a challenge to get it to stay open. We tried the paperclip idea, but couldn't figure it out and ended up taping it open. The cardboard is thin, bent easily, and the look of it was overall cheesy, in my opinion, based on the material used. However, it was hanging in an elementary school office and the kids and staff really loved it. We thought of adding orange or red glitter to the "flames" to jazz it up, but never got around to it. With a little glisten and some fake webbing, anyone could probably make it look great.

Elegant & Affordable

I ordered 6 3-D Bat Chandelier's for an Office Halloween Potluck. The only thing I did to it was grab a box cutter and cut out all the whiteboard within the chandelier. WOW! any left over whiteboard left on it actually looked web-like. It was a lot of work but well worth it. Everyone loved them!!!
