When it first arrived it came in a flat rectangular box. When I took it out from the box it was deformed, bended and the tail in the back was slowly coming off soon there was nothing, any ways I was really dissapointed. I papermached it and spray painted the inside black, and now it looks legit. The price for this thing is deffinately not worth it. But its up to you, buy it make it better i guesse. (But When I Papermached It, It was pretty awsome!!)

The picture looks good, and we may know what vinyl is, but we never expect how disappointing the actual product is until it arrives. It's a soft piece of vinyl but very well detailed. The cheek flaps keep flopping on your face and that's the most annoying part. So I had to reinforce them with large pieces of hard plastic (cut out from a jar and superglued on). The crest is also vinyl and stiff, so it's OK, but the tail was pathetic. Mine came with only a few sorry strands of hair which I had to rip off. Replaced them with a large chunk of hair chopped off a black wig, and sewed onto the back of the helmet. I was also intending to put something hard under the dome but realized it was OK the way it was - easy to stash folded up. Also, the helmet itself was a bit too big for me, so I sewed a little part of it at the back to fit my head. With these few fixes, voilà - looked awesome. Went very well with the Spartan costume I bought and got a lot of compliments. If you buy this, you need to be prepared to work on it a bit, but the end product comes out well.

design is Cool and after we added a dollar store fireman's hat and some wire to make is stiff it's fabulous! It's a heavy plastic and color is cool... if you didn't add help it would be way to flimsy and look silly. :) We love it! Hubby thinks it's awesome and he is the one that did the fixing.. I did nothing! means Perfect for ME!

Again, looking at the pics this item would appear to be awesome. When they arrived they were flat as a piece of paper. Both my boys said they did not want them now and they were the ones who were so excited when we first made the order.

i believed it to be a actual some what helmet but its more like a mask. Big disappointment when i saw it. the cheek covers are coming apart and they flap way out making it look silly. very disappointed!!!
