if you've read any other reviews they're pretty much true. This IS indeed a super cheap costume probably not worth the money etc. etc. HOWEVER, if you're a dude and you workout have a decent figure it really doesn't matter cuz chicks love it and they're gonna be all over you. nuff said. OH!! one recommendation. order this costume with a enough time to let it sit out for a few days cuz the shin and wrist guards and helmet have an intense rubber smell

Okay, so 1st I would like to say that this is the best company EVER!! As far as customer service and getting your product to you by the time you need it, they are amazing! The costume: Was really wearable. The piece that you wear feels really nice. The costume in its' entirety photographs WELL! I didn't like the feel of the armour. The head mask surprised me in that, I have a huge!! head. And it fit perfectly! Another thing I did not like was the shin guard armour, it was hard to pull up your leg, I have large calves and it was super snug. And :( it snatches your leg hair. I'd almost recommend shaving your legs. Overall, I received positive feedback saying I looked great, even if I had a "dress" on. And I must say, the breeze feels nice :) I bought it with the matching sword all for under $49 including shipping. Great buy. I plan on wearing it 5 more times, we'll see how well it holds up.

I was a little dissatisfied with the quality of this costume. The straps on the shin guards and arm guards kept snapping off. The toga was thin and frayed, and sort of itchy. It was overpriced, i would have had no complaints if the costume was $15.00, but it was $45.00. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Everything they say about this costume is true. The armor and helmet are vinyl - floppy and soft, but well detailed. The helmet that came with the set wasn't all that great, so I bought the Leonidas helmet separately. All pieces of armor needed quite a bit of work. Had to cut out pieces off a plastic jar and superglue under the wrist and shin guards for some semblance of rigidity. And pasted some wire at the bottom of the shin guards (with white medical tape and superglue) so they kept their shape. The elastic fasteners had to be tied carefully as they were very flimsy - but surprisingly they held. I'm also glad the toga fit me just right (I'm 5'10" and the standard size was perfect) With some battle wounds, the whole ensemble looked awesome! It's great fun, and got me quite a bit off attention. AND lasted whole night without any glitches. If you choose this costume, prepare to do some work, and you will be rewarded.

For the price, this was the worst costume ever. The material was so thin, you could see through it. The front of the costume barely covered very important parts if you get my drift and this is on a 5'6 man. I returned it but it was a very expensive shipping lesson.
