The Spartan™ Deluxe costume is the togas of all togas. This costume includes a faux suede red cape/toga, gold PVC clasp, two molded gold gauntlets, two gold shin guards, and a gold overhead vinyl helmet.

Available in adult sizes: Standard and X-Large.

Title: This is SPARTA!

My boyfriend and I were the Spartan King and Queen for Halloween this year. This costume did the trick, but definitely needed some adjustments before it was wearable. My boyfriend is small, but muscular and the toga was a big tight around the neck. The rest of the costume is all made of vinyl and needed major adjustments. The helmet was shaped funny from being squished flat so long and was way too big. The elastic on the leg guards were really tight, yet the arm guards were way too loose and I had to sew them smaller. After all of that, the costume looked great and I decided it was worth the hassle. Don't buy this costume unless you want to put in that extra bit of effort!

Title: Spartans! Prepare For Glory!

We bought this costume as part of a joint Hallowe'en/birthday night out. The fit of the costume is not EXACTLY as it appears on the packaging, but then again none of us are built like the guy modelling it! Although it was initially a bit daunting wearing it (it's pretty revealing) and - because we live in Scotland - the thin material meant we would FREEZE if we didn't get taxis everywhere, but the comedy factor wearing it in a group was fantastic! Every bar and pub we went into, we got a great reaction and it's very recognisable. We even had one girl wearing one (with slight customisation). A definite "group" costume (you don't want to be a lonely Spartan, do you?). The only other advice I can give is that if you are over 5'9", get the XL size for that extra bit of dignity.
