Once I got the right size it was a very nice costume. Good for a more conservative event, like a work party. The only thing I didn't like was the belt, so I used my own. Also, I think the outfit would work better with a zipper instead of buttons.

I ordered this costume for both a party and going out with the kids around the neighborhood. It is so much fun .. I love it!! I am about five feet tall and about a size 7. It is slightly long, but I didn't need to hem it because it is tight enough below that it just bunched really cute at the ankle. Plus I am planning on wearing boots! If you are curvy like I am I really recommend the med. over small. It's a darling costume and so fun and appropriate for this time of year to honor our military and look cute in this awesome costume!
Finding a cute costume that is child friendly and doesn't show mommy's goods to everyone is hard these days. My son loves all types of army men so I thought this would be perfect to take him trick or treating in. It is made beautifully, very good quality. I am 5'8 and weight 118 lbs. I read that it ran small so I ordered a large. If I gain 1 lbs before Halloween this thing will not close. It runs VERY small. As long as you get the right size this costume is so worth the money, will be able to wear it over and over again. Post picture after Halloween...

My dress size is 6 or S, 5'8"/125 lbs, I ordered M because the other reviews commented the size runs small. According to the size chart, M fits 8 - 10... well, I can squeeze myself in but looking like a sausage....This is WAY OFF!! I was really disppointed NOT to have the costume for my Halloween dinner plan..

I was going to order a large, but due to the other comments I ordered an XL. I'm glad that I did. I'm 5'9.5", 158lbs. The costume fit great. If you're much taller it might be too short in the torso. I didn't have any problems with the buttons. I got a ton of compliments on the costume--apparently it's WWII-ish? All around, a great costume!
