We bought this for our son's 18th birthday - sort of a fun, lighthearted gift he'd wear or take many photos of the hat in various places. It was a huge hit and made his day. The hat was exactly as shown but better. We followed someone's advice and removed the cardboard peacock feather and replaced with a real one... way better now! Don't hesitate - get it!

We based entire costume around this hat and loved how it turned out!!

This hat is a great value, and I would have kept it and replaced the very fake-looking paper peacock feather had it not been crushed in shipping. I tried to get it to regain it's shape, but it never did. Also, you can't really tell from the photo, but the peacock feather isn't actually a peacock feather, it's a piece of cardboard (that looks very fake in real life) sewn on to the hat. Easy enough to replace with real peacock feather, but I returned the hat because it was quite rumpled. Great refund policy, BuyCostumes.com at least will take stuff back easily, so it's very low-risk.

People are saying that the ribbon was frayed, well, that's how it looked in the movie.

Great hat just like the movie. Only complaint is that it isn't as stiff as it should be. Fast delivery & price seemed reasonable.
