I ordered this outfit as a definite alternative to the Athenian Goddess costume, because this one was an XL and the other one was an L. I wear a size 10 pant and a size 14 top and I would say the XL was probably an 8, maybe a 10. It wouldn't even zip up my lower back. WAAAAAY too small.

It is a wonderful costume, just runs very small, good quality, fun factor, but runs very small!

Definitely runs small. I bought and x-lrg and I'm a size 8. A little tighter around bust line and I'm not busty! I love the costume though. By having to order an X-Lrg it was a little long for me but I sew and I was able to take up the length.

Glad I read the reviews. An XL is really a size 8! Costume is of great quality! Really liked it!
