The dress is very cute. It's even better looking in person. I bought the 1T size for my 1 year old, and it's little snug. It fits, but is tight. The hat is a little small as well. Just gonna had some elastic, and it'll be fine. Mine came with some cute red booties. I didn't read that it came with any, so it's a pleasant surprise. The socks that came with it though are huge. They are literally, as big as my baby is. I could wear them and they would come up to my knees. In fact I would, but the foot part is too small. Probably meant for a 6-7 year old. Would buy again. Though I would get a a size larger than my child is at the time.

Very happy with purchase. My 2 yr old went as apple dumplling, my 4 yr old was strawberry shortcake, my 11 yr old was blueberry muffin and I went as the baker, considering I helped create these little sweeties. We had tons of compliments. Our best halloween ever! I am also planning on using this dress next year in Sept. for Johnny Appleseed day. I suggest attaching some elastic to the hat if your child will tolerate it, otherwise it is hard to keep te hat on, but they dress is so wonderful I couldn't give it less than 5 stars. I washed it before and after use and it doesn't even look used-just smells like downey now. I consider it a real steal at the 19.99 rate I paid. The socks washed well also.

The design is really cute. I'm happy we got it discounted though. The material is not what I would have thought it was. The costume itched my granddaughter. I washed the outfit by hand after receiving it, and the dirt that came out of it was nasty. Other than that, it held together really well, and is a cute outfit. For what we needed it for...it worked out just fine.

I was "o.k" with it on the Internet...not exactly the "Apple Dumplin" I remembered from my childhood, but it would do. When I received it, I was very disappointed. Poorly made and very small. My little one (petite two-year old) complained of the 2T being "too tight...take it off!" I am still searching for an apple dumpling costume.
