I bought these boots with the expectation of full time boots... I just got them today and they are super cute! I put them on and they fit, but are a little tight in the ankle area. I was able to zip them up all the way.. so I'm hoping with a little bit of wearing I'll stretch them out...

I adore this boot. great styling, super comfortable to walk in, very good overall construction for the price. however, couldn't zip the lovelies past mid calf. I'm an average size person, but this boot is for you lucky ladies who wear skinny jeans. sent them back.

Think twice!

Purchasing any kind of footwear online is dicey, as you really need to try them on to see if they fit well. I was willing to take a chance on these boots as I figured if they were even moderately comfortable, I could put up with it for a few hours. However, these boots were so small in the calf I couldn't even zip them up past my ankle. They went back the very next day. I would recommend that BuyCostumes.com add circumference information to any boots they sell on their site. A simple measurement from the customer could determine if these boots would fit, and avoid shipping and restocking charges.

I did not expect the upper part of the calf area to be so big. I have way too much room due to the gussets and it makes for an awkward look. I thought the boots would have more stretch to them, but they are pretty stiff. I probably won't wear them but maybe once. Kind of pricey for a one time use.

Good Value at Nice Price!

Atlhough I wish the costume sported an embroidered insignia, it is still a nice looking costume! The boots were top quality, although I wish they came in half sizes... At least that's the message from my wife! Finally, the accessories: pantyhose and phaser were excellent add ons at good prices. Note that the phaser is a full-size replica of the classic series phaser, only differing with the blue color instead of black... It looks great!!!!
