OVERALL: The quality of the costume was ok. The back doesn't have the same second bodice layer that the front does. It is only one solid piece of frabric that is very sheer and unforgivingly clingy. I wore a very tight nude colored slip under it to help. The crown is totally lame in real life but I was medusa so I didn't need it. HINTS: As another reviewer said, it tends to flop down in the front. I figured out that if you take the sheer streamers on the sleeves and wrap them toward the inside of the garment and out the arm holes (as opposed to directly over the shoulder) it works much better. Also, you can then pass them through your bra/slip strap on the shoulder before passing it out the arm hole. That kept it in place perfectly which pleased me because it had looked very dumpy. Also, once you get the waist ribbons in place, pull down on the front point (bottom) of the bodice piece and it will draw the folds in and down to give you a nice body shape. MEDUSA: I got the "Bad Girl Wig" and added headbands that I covered in shaped (with super glue) and painted wooden snakes from Oriental Trading Co. The wig held the headbands very nicely and I was never worried that they would fall. The costume was a huge hit!

Well I guess I should have read the review before we ordered the costume. We ordered the costume for my 14yr old daughter cause it is hard to find costumes that cover a young girl anymore. And we had to run out the night before halloween and sort through the left overs to try and find a costume because her neck line came so low and from the picture and the package there is suppost to be an adjustable neck line. what a waste of money.
