Title: Cute Costume, Odd Fit

I was happy to find a Sleeping Beauty costume. The dress is ankle length on me & I am tall. The colour is as expected though the bodice is actually different from the website picture. The material is decent and it was made well, but there were a few small marks on the skirt. The gold criss-cross on the front will need some tacking down since they don't lay flat. I found this top small-ish. I'm fairly slim yet the shoulder area and sleeves were slightly tight. The skirt has an underlay & multiple pleats that make it VERY full and it looks almost comically wide. Might need to cinch it in somehow to control the hip fullness. The very full skirt made the overall feel of the costume unbalanced or off somehow. The tiara is made of material - it was bent but a replacement was easily found. On the whole, I enjoyed the look of this costume but if the bodice was more comfortable and the skirt less wide, I would have given it a higher rating.

This costume is, at best, okay. The picture is fairly acurate, but the underneath makes the outfit really poofy at the hips and it just doesn't flow as naturally as desired. The one size fits all costume isn't adjustable. Therefore, if you plan on wearing it more than once, I'd recommend getting it taken in.The sleeves and vest are extremely sparkly and the sparkles come off easily and everywhere. Overall, the costume is so-so. Not superb, but not horrible.
