fits just right for size 7 1/4 head, not much room for larger customers. Purchased for Oddball as an alternative to a vintage US Air Corps flight helmet. Far less expensive and definitely safer to wear than a fragile, pricey investment of a vintage piece. Despite being cotton/poly, from a distance it looks like aged leather. thin strap around the exterior hatband is perfect to secure a pair of goggles. Primitive, simple ear flaps. flip down visor has mildly uncomfortable snap. BuyCostumes.com was recommended by a friend for this exact product. took exactly a week to arrive (was guaranteed to be delivered 2 days after the fact).

My daughter needed a Aviator Hat for her 5th grade History project. I could not find a hat locally and needed one within three days. The customer service representative was very helpful. She recommended what goggles to go with hat and guaranteed I would receive both in time for the project. My daughter looked great as Amelia Earhart. Very happy with purchase.

The aviator's hat was a great addition to my son's Red Baron costume. It would have been nice to sell the goggles with the hat, as I had to go search for the goggles. But it all worked so well together.

Just what I wanted!

This hat looks just like the picture and was exactly what we were looking for. It fit my toddler son's head a little loose and my adult head just right. The material is very comfortable, too inside and out. The only bummer is that we have not been able to find goggles to finish the look.
