I wore the Barrel of Monkeys costume on Halloween - to the delight of our two grandchildren. We went trick or treating with them and I got rave reviews from kids and parents alike. Not only was the costume very comfortable, the monkey hand puppets will be used all year long. The best! Thank you.

The bands that keep the barrel shape did not hold them properly. Difficult to insert bands. Had to use just the monkey hands and head gear for a chlldrens story time so without the barrel, the whole effective was lost.

This is a cute costume, however, it does not come with any instructions. They send 2 wires, but I could not figure out where to put them. Were they to put in the piping for the barrel?--if so, I could not find an opening. Were they for the monkey puppets?--if so, I could not figure out how.

a fun costume in spite of...

if there was ever a worse fabric for the lining of hoops for the barrel "ribs" i can't imagine what it would be! as you thread the hoop into the tunnel, it shreds the lining, which now shows through on the front, YES on the FRONT! i have sewn my own costumes, dresses, other clothes, etc i know that a simple change of material would make a world of difference here. but it might cost 50 cents more... none the less, my kid LOVED HIS COSTUME!!!
