we purchased the wig and makeup kit as well and were glad we did, the mask was average and squished, however the costume it self was great and fit as specified, the make up was easliy applied and washed off very easily, something we were wondering about! All our friends were impressed and half didn't know who he was untill he spoke or laughed. Highly recommend this company and products!

Okay, first things first, the quality is awful. It looks great from afar and even up close, but the quality of the craftsmanship is awful. One of the pocket flaps was sewn into the seam, in the up position! Right out of the packaging, I had to remove part of the seam and fabric glue that seam back together just to get it to look right. There were also various threads lose and hanging. The backing on the collars is foam, and the top fabric layer isn't bonded to the foam that well.. the foam ends up becoming more visible the more wear the costume takes. Also, the mask is equally bad -- it comes folded flat in the package, and it's impossible to get it back to the desired shape. On top of that, the mask is uneven -- it goes farther around one side than the other, so one of your ears will be covered and the other will stick out! Reading other reviews, I expected the mask to be bad...so I bought the makeup kit as well. The costume also fits a bit small; I have a 40" chest, and this was on the tight (but acceptable) side. So, once you get past the fact that the mask isn't worth unpackaging, there are no gloves or wig included (extra purchases), the seams will be a bit uneven and have lose threads, the pockets may be sewn open, and it fits a bit tight... it's awesome. I wore it all night and it was comfortable, especially the pants since they are more like lightweight sweatpants than real pants. Everywhere I went, people loved it... random people wanting to stop and take pictures and etc. If you're going to get this costume, you just have to buy the makeup and wig kit, too.
I bought this costume to wear for Halloween and when I received it in the mail, my first thought was "Return". There wasn't even a question. I already knew I wasn't going to use the mask because it has very little resemblance to the actual Dark Knight Joker and when it arrives, it is folded in half so good luck trying to iron out that rubbery crease if you do decide to wear it. But then I pulled out the costume itself and figured I would at least try it on... The costume is made from a very thin, cheap, pajama-like material. The jacket/shirt/vest/tie is all one piece and it looks like it from close and far. Save yourself the money, use half of it, and go to a resale shop to make your own costume. That's what I did and won a costume contest. Don't expect any cheers or lifelike resemblance with this costume.
