this belt exceeded my expectations. it even has a foam flying star and baterang with glow-in-the-dark bat symbols. it completed the costume i made for my boyfriend and made it look great. I have included a picture of myself wearing the costume.

I really thought that this was another, better model that had been released as a promotional two years ago for Batman Begins. It turned out to be just a big strip of stamped rubber. The belt buckle isn't even separate, it was just part of the mold. Why on Earth the makers wouldn't put the close in front, behind the buckle like a normal belt is beyond me. It has velcro in the back so you'll have an ugly overlap that you can't hide because the pockets don't move. At a club or out at night it'll probably be too dark for people to notice how bad this belt is. Overall, from a slight distance and in a darker room it looks pretty good. The pockets are at least well made and actually open and snap shut. buycostumes seems to have the best price so in a rush I would say that it is sadly the best option right now for a bat belt short of just making your own.
