I purchased this as a back up in case my planned costume didn't work out. As it happened, I was invited to another costume party before Halloween so I used this for it. The top part was WAY too big. I wear a size 16 dress and a 40 D or DD bra so it's not like I'm a small girl. The midsection and skirt were fine, but the whole torso was too long. I ended up having to put a half dozen safety pins in it to keep it together. The black petticoat trim was not included. In the picture, I have a bobby pin attaching the front to my bra, and then it's pinned with safety pins in the back. Also, as others reviewers have noted, there were red stains on the white part where the skirt had rubbed up against it in the packaging. The Manufacturer should look into a different method of packaging this costume.

Fun for the night!

I actually purchased this costume for a friend, not really knowing what size to order. She is 5ft tall and usually wears a 16. She tried the costume on and it really was true to size and fit really well. The only complaint I have is the quality, the lacing of the mid area isn't straight and one sleeve is tighter than the other, bit strange but I think it will be just fine for one evening of wearing.

poor quality, poor fit

I was very disappointed when this costume arrived. I've ordered from buycostumes.com for the last few years and have not had this problem before. The costume was of very poor quality and did not totally resemble the picture. The colors from the skirt and apron ran onto the white top, the shoulders were off the shoulder, not at all as appears in the picture, and the fabric was stiff and plasticky (i made that word up!). Another problem was the size, the only option when ordering says plus, but the costume arrived saying plus meant size 14-16. I don't consider that plus and it was too small as I am a size 18. Needless to say, I had to return it. I do not recommend this costume. P.S.- I did keep the beer stein purse just for fun!

A great fit!

We ordered our costumes and were surprised that they arrived in less than 2 weeks! The dress fit perfectly right out of the box, the only problem was a few seams were undone and there were some threads hanging out. A few stitches solved the problem and the dress held up very well for the nights festivities. I would certainly recommend this product. We bought the beer keg costume with it and they were the hit of the party!

Another Great Costume

I have not been disappointed once. I have been ordering for the last 3 years and 2 of the years my daughter has won prizes for her costumes. I am hoping to make this year the 3rd one in a row. This cosutme the beer garden girl is really nice. The fabric is just so soft and bright pretty colors. And it always looks great. Great Job!!
