Was looking for a costume that I could become a common soldier of the Revolutionary War. Most seem to be of officers. Vest strings good and long (I'm NOT a average size guy - bigger). In my case I was able to add some rags, get a tricorn (get braid off of it - pirate site), add some shoes, costume makeup, and become a wounded soldier. Tooth black works great, too. Costume went over very well.

The costume is a lot of fun and looks good. It comes with everything- stockings, cuffs, cost, vest, jabot, etc. But careful- the vest has a velcro strap you attach around your back and it wont fit all the way around. Even the XL costume (vest) doest fit, but can easily be modified, as I did. So, might suggest ordering a size up for a good fit and be prepared to modify the vest strap for a good fit. Have fun!
