Overall it was a great purchase. The barets were exactly what was described, and the price was pretty good for it being a simple beret. I needed the berets within two days because the event was so close and it was a last minute purchase, and the company did a great job shipping them overnight to arrive a day earlier than the event. Overall great purchase!

We needed 5 black berets to help set the mood for Paula McLain, author of the Paris Wife, to visit the library. We are serving cookies in the shape of the Eiffel Tower and speaking with French accents. The cardboard attached to the hats made us laugh...."Beatnik Beret".

The berets were purchased for a French class and the quality was good for the price and fit most students.

buycostumes.com was fine to work with. very easy to order an item that was not easy to find in brick and mortar stores. the quality of the item is fine for the price and the use. Delivery was quicker than anticipated. I would not hesitate to use them again if the need arises.

We bought this to complete a French costume for our 8 year old son. It fits him pretty well and he is pleased with it. It's not super durable but it is definitely worth the money.
