I needed a pirate hat to go with my costume. I didn't want a big hat so I purchased the Buckaneer Mini Hat and it's perfect. It finishes off my outfit perfectly. I was happy with the quality of the hat and the head band attached to is makes it very comfortable to wear. I would highly recommend this product

I already have 3 Leg Avenue Pirate hats, so thought this would be a cute addition. Sadly the quality is not good and because it's so small, it's difficult to see the tri-corn shape. Looks better in the photo. My advice - buy the Leg Avenue Bucanneer hat that's the size up from this.

This is a great alternative if you are looking for something cute and fun. I had to retack one of the bows./side of the hat because it popped off when I first got it. Like other reviews have said it does come a little squished but its easily fixed. Hope this helps!

This is a very cute hat and works very well with my costume. It arrived a little flat, but was easy to re-shape.

The pirate costume I ordered for Halloween does not come with a hat, so I have to look for one myself. This little guy will do the job. When I opened my package, the hat was flat as a pancake. But after shaping and molding the hat with my fingers for a minute, it ends up looking okay. I am probably going to use some threads and needles to make some simple modification; other than that, if you flip the edges of the hat out, it gives the hat a bit more shape and shows off some lace (see the "After" picture). For the price, the quality is fair. And if I am only going to wear the costume once or twice, I don't want to spend $10+ on an accessory. The bottom of the hat has two little loops for the hair band to go through, but the hair band that comes with the hat is a bit small for my head (I do have a bigger head size). It's not a big deal though, I am probably going to just use my own hair band or use some alligator clips/bobby pins.
