My husband wore this when we all dressed up as superheroes. It looked great on him! The padded chest really brought the character "to life". He had a lot of fun. The headpiece of course got a little hot after awhile but that would be true of any headpiece that covers the whole head. I was pleased with the quality.

Black Spiderman - GREAT costume

My son was going to be Spiderman and he wanted me to be the 'bad, black' Spiderman, so I found this costume and ordered. It was great quality and a fun costume!

Good With Some Touchups

I was very excited when I got this costume last year for Halloween. I also purchased the gloves and boot covers. I'm still quite satisfied with the purchase. However, I did have to slightly modify the mask because I nitpick. The velcro that closes the mask in the back is isolated to a small dot at the very bottom. There's a maybe two or three inch split in the back to allow you to get your head inside. I didn't need that much to put it on, so I sewed the split down to only about an inch above the velcro dot. The mask also tends to hang off the chin, rather than form fit to the throat as the movie costume would. As an easy fix for this, I bought a black turtleneck shirt and cut out the collar piece. I tucked the overhang from the mask into the collar of the turtleneck, and it worked out great. WARNING: This last step will reduce your visibility in the mask. Do not use this step for children, or if you anticipate a situation where reduced visibility may cause harm. My last nitpick is with the eyes of the mask. They're quite see-through, as in the picture here. I didn't like this, so I used fabric glue to attach a fine fishnet fabric along the inside. That's about it! The body of the costume is great. The rubberized web detailing is an awesome touch. It fits good, but be warned. If you're carrying any extra weight around the midsection, it will show.

My brother loved this costume. His friends were very jealous he got ahold of one of these for Halloween 07. It is fairly small for a full grown adult. My brother is 12 and very tall, but still not close to adult size. The smaller size was slightly big on him.

This costume looks a lot better than I expected it to. It's not perfect, but it's decent quality for a superhero costume these days, or just a costume in general at this price range. Like every other costume though, the one size fits all will not always fit all. I fit the height and weight range criteria perfectly, but I noticed that it was about an 1-2 inches short; which is not a problem because you're covered, but the reason I bring this up, is because it rides pretty high in the nuts. Speaking of that area, the other thing to be desired is that there is no zipper!!! I'm assuming this is typical of most 1 piece costumes, but please be aware and have a hook ready in case you need to unzip yourself to take a leak. Lastly, I bought the gloves and boot covers. The boot covers were good, but the gloves silver web design doesn't quite match the rest of the outfit. And the cowl will be slightly small for people with big heads. I know it sounds like a lot of flaws, but even with them, I would still buy it again.
