I bought this costume in the med/lge size because I had read other reviews on the it running small. I still wasn't comfortable wearing it. I am size 4 in normal clothes and the med/lge fit but it was still a little tight where I felt if I bent down the wrong way it could rip. You would think at 5' 1" woman who is a size 4 could fit into the larger costume but it just wasn't the case. It is just a cheap cotton material so I was afraid it wouldn't hold up all night since it was a little tight. I tried the hat on also and couldn't get it to sit up like in the picture so I feel like even if I had worn the costume the hat probably wouldn't have made it all night.

I think that it is a cute costume, but it is definitely small. I am what the size chart says, but it is so tight that I cant move in it, I cant even sit down. If you weigh 120 lbs and your 5'3 you should order a medium/large. You should only buy a small if you weigh about 110-115 lbs. I hope this helps :-)
