This whip is awesome for the price, good quailty and you can get a real nice cracking sound, i recommend taping the end if you use it lots it will fray cheers!

Bought it with my costume but I don't know if I'm going to be carrying this whip around all night.

This is the first costume accessory I have ever gotten before so I didn't know what to expect with this one. I had researched other whips after purchasing this one but I thought, "Well, I'm only going to use it once with this costume." Let me put it this way...just invest in a good whip because chances are you may actually use it and this whip won't last very long. I took this out of packaging and was not impressed but after laying it out to unwind without me having to force it to unwind when I needed it. The loop at the end came apart when I hooked my finger through it to hang it. I could easily put it right back on, but I had to continue to do that.
