Purchased this costume based on a couple of other reviews I read. I, too, am curvy and had to customize the built in shorts to where the outfit could be put on over my head instead of pulled on. Paired it with the gothic mini top hat on the recommendation of another customer and I was a HUUUUGE hit. This is a costume I will wear again in future years. Ribbon is definitely too short for the corset part, but that was easily remedied. Don't be afraid to purchase this one based on the size "medium." It's actually a medium/large and fit perfectly on my size 10, 5'5" frame. Heels of some sort are required for the skirt not to drag the ground. Have fun!!!

This costume was a great buy! The look was exactly what I wanted...HOWEVER...be prepared to fix it up a little. I am 5' 2" and very curvy. (about a C cup and some junk in the trunk, lol!) So getting into the costume was a bit of a challenge, because it is a one-piece. But no worries! I just cut the built in panties...hot glued the seams up a bit, added some ribbons (to give it some body on the sides) and wore the cute red and black boy shorts that you can purchase here at BuyCostumes. You will definitely need to purchase a spool of black satin ribbon to lace up the corset...as the one it came with was WAY TOO short. My biggest suggestion is: Get a different hat if you really want to nail the vamp look. The hat that comes with it looked like it belonged on a snowman and was super smashed-up. I absolutely LOVED the black & red satin hat w/bow that you can also purchase here at BuyCostumes. It really pulled the Victorian Vamp look together. The other purchases I made were the vamp teeth (amazing!!!) and the demon skull can with light up eyes!

Had to cut out the attached panty which made it easier to put on over head/shoulders. I'm barely 5'2" with 3"heels the trane just drapes to the the floor, so I didn't have to worry about alterations. The hat is HOT, really makes the outfit. You just have to re-shape it. Shipped immediately without delay.

As a 5'4 size 6 female with 32DD boobs and a butt it seems that most others are going to need to make some adjustments if you purchase the small/medium size. This costume is a onesie (yikes...) and the built in shorts leave room for nothing but a wedgie and/or camel toe... not to mention the model is 5'2 and 105 pounds according to the package (would've been nice to know before my purchase!). My solution was to cut the shorts into a skirt. This will need to be paired with a pair of small bicycle shorts or a form fitting skirt but i have a feeling it will be ok. Also, the sleeves are extra tiny but the lace is gorgeous!! Solution, stuff a LOT of socks down the sleeves and leave them in for a few days to stretch out the material. Lots of editing but don't be afraid to buy this costume. It's still super cute!

No zipper?? Who designed this costume?? It's an amazing costume but way too hard to get in and out of. You have to squeeze in through the top. If you can get it past your hips, great! However, for busty girls like myself the hard part is getting your arms through the sleeves. The top doesn't stretch enough, so you're stuck. Basically, it's a great costume, if you have the right measurements for it.
