  • Better than expected

    After reading the reviews, I was expecting a one-time wear costume so I was pleasently surprised that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I bought this for my average sized 4-year old (with a big belly!) and it fit her just fine. I put a white leotard underneath and used the "Dawn Fairy Child Wings" since I couldn't find wings that exactly matched but it looked great together. I also bought the recommended "Butterfly Fairy Wand". I also bought the "Green Curly Hair Combs" and attached those to her ponytails. While she looked cute, I ended up wearing the wings and carrying the wand. Only bad thing was the velcro on the ankle bracelets wasn't super clingy so we ended up losing one.

    Ok, i looked closely at this before purchasing, it looked pretty stretchy. I have a good size 2-1/2 year old and when i opened this it was smaller in size than expected. We will make it work for Halloween, it is very cute, it really is made for a small to average size 2-3 year old.

  • cute but uncomfy

    This costume is cut wierd and the student wouldn't wear it saying it was uncomfortable. The size seems to run true but with the dropped waist and satin front panel, elastic gathering on the sides, this is not a cut for every child. We were attracted to the fun, bright color and we're keeping it for a backup in case any of the others we bought get lost or damaged. Wings were not included and we thought it was pricey because of that.
