Ok the coat is great! I am 6'1" and a little over 200 lbs. The coat fits very well and seems to be made of some substance. The hat is wierd. It is this foam thing and I have a med to small head when it comes to hats. This is too small for me to wear. The pants caused me to laugh out loud. They are HUGE!! I could invite 3 friends to join me in these things. Not sure how they took the picture for the advert but there is enough material there for a ships sails. The "shirt" insert is ok and should do the trick.

I basically bought this costume for the purple jacket and vest. I am having my husband wear khaki pants and bought a more expensive looking top hat. I know this costume is hard to find but expect to purchse other items to make it look more authentic.

I was happy with the purchase. I needed this quickly for a play. Delivery was great since I knew I would need time to alter the size since the smallest in an adult size was a Men's medium. I would purchase again from this site when needed.

When we got the costume, the hat was missing. The customer service associate was very helpful and fedexed it to make sure I got it in time for our costume party. However I was very dissapointed in the workmanship of the jacket. The lapels were not distinctly notched as pictured, the vest and bow tie were completely different colors. I know that the product description said that the colors may vary, but they were more clownish than Willie Wonka-ish. The CSR was very helpful when I told her I was unhappy with the jacket, and made it up to me. I definitely would buy again from buycostumes.com. Though the jacket was sloppy, it did fit my 6'3" husband. The hat was small so if you have a big noggin, you might want to purchse one seperately.

The Jacket is the best part. But it might be worth getting a purple coat, but for the price the rest of the costume is not great. for $40 - $50 max it is a good costume. Hat and Coat are fun and good but pants and vest are strange. Look into making your own, but almost worth for hat and coat. Cost should come down though.
