The shirt and jacket are one piece, so if it gets hot you can't take the jacket off. On the plus side, it is not as hot with both pieces on as it would be if they were two separate pieces!!! Besides that it looks great for the money and comes in a great storage bag!!

The overcoat and vest/shirt are all one piece, so you need to pull the whole thing over your head and tie up the front, but it looks great. you need to get a wig to go with it and you need your own pants. the boot tops are ok but I bought a different pair of boots. But the coat and hat alone are worth the cost.

I already owned a locally purchased costume, and was not very impressed, so I thought I would try one of these, as the web site vendor came recommended by a friend. I added my own long black wig and purchased the black boots. The Hat is sewn together backwards? I modified it and felt great and comfortable all night. Dancing did not create any unusual overheating. Except those wigs we wear for the full effect! Grow a beard, and the look will get you compliments!

Bought this costume for 2 Halloween parties this year and it was terrific. The sizing was perfect and it was not too hot to wear through the party. The quality was excellent and it looks like it will hold up for another go round! I would recommend this costume as a great men's compliment to the Pirate Lady!

Bought for this years party, looked great, rec'd many compliments. Would give it 5 stars all around however, one button was missing and another one fell off as I was getting dressed. Otherwise great purchase.
