Great Pirate Costume

This costume is well made and fits like a glove. I'm 5'5" and around 115 lbs and the medium is perfect. I usually wear a small, but go up a size with this costume. The costume is well constructed with a back zipper to make it easy to get on and the fabric is a better quality than most costumes. The sleeves are shorter than pictured so I am going to add on a ruffle for more length. This is a great costume and adding accessories - boots, hat, etc., will complete the look.

Good quality, and price! It does run a little small but you can loosen the red ribbon and it will open up the front a bit! Am in love with this costume!

Better than most pirate costumes out there

I bought this for a pirate party for work. Other cowokers bought other types of costumes from this website, but mine was the only one that had decent quality and fit nicely. The coat is a fuzzy material, not the cheap type of thin polyester. The lace is nice and adds a good touch along with the ribbon. The buttons were loose when it came out of the box, so I had to add a few stitches to make sure they didn't come off. I'm 5'9", so it was pretty short on me - since it was a work function I ended up wearing skinny jeans underneath it, tucked into my high leather boots, but otherwise I would have gotten away with a petticoat only. The lace underlay is off white, NOT standard white like the picture indicates, so a white petticoat may not look right, but black/red definitely would be cute. Overall, got great comments on it and would definitely wear it again!

Cute Dress

I really enjoy this costume. I combined it with a large ruffled petticoat which I thought made the dress even better. The lace on the bodice is itchy but I wore a body stocking underneath which solved the problem. It runs a bit small but fit perfectly. The black fabric is like velvet. I felt this was a high quality costume that is well made with a zipper in the back. I added some gold jewelry to the lapels. Love it!
