Title: Very cute costume

I bought this costume to wear to work the day before Halloween. Since I was wearing this to work, length was important. While the skirt is definitely shorter side in terms of what I'd normally wear, I think it was a much better length than most women's costumes offer. Adding a petticoat is a must, not only to add an extra inch or two to the skirt length, but because the extra added "poof" in the skirt improves the outfit even more. I went with white, which Iooked fine even though the skirt is more of a light ivory. I also wore black leggings to make the outfit work appropriate, though I would have felt comfortable going without them at a non-work function. I bought the swashbuckler hat, the pirate boots (with red ribbons), and the pirate sword from BuyCostumes, and they did a great job of completing the look. My costume was a hit at work. Everyone wanted me in a picture.
I went back and forth for weeks about whether to buy this costume. I really wish I hadn't waited so long. By the time I decided to buy it, it was sold out. Luckily, 4 days before Halloween, the L and XL came into stock. The large fit nicely. For reference, I'm 5'4'', 150 lbs. As I mentioned above, the skirt is definitely a decent length considering most women's costumes don't even pretend to try to hide your backside. Also, given that I am not a size 2, I have to say this costume does an excellent job of flattering a notsoperfect figure. This outfit shows off your curves without highlighting problem areas.

Title: Great Costume!

I bought this costume for our Halloween party this weekend and this is in my top two costumes of all time. I love it!! The lace is more of a cream color as stated below but it looks amazing! I received so many compliments about my costume. It is great quality and people said that it looked very theatrical... they even asked if I had rented it!! Overall, this is a great costume. I can't wait to wear it again!! As always, quite happy with my purchase!!
