I've read all the reviews before ordering this costume and it helped a lot. It's true that the costume is made a little smaller than what you'd expecte... So, if your a normal size and usually buy small size clothes, take the medium. The dress is short, if you're wearing the costume to an event (not just the bedroom), you need the extra inches of the medium size. BUY THE PETTICOAT! It's mandatory to have a complet look and to put some extra lenght to the dress. I've bought the raindrop petticoat : it gives a little more lenght and fits well with the "ancient" look of the costume. It's a really pretty costume, but the colors are not exactly as shown on the picture. The coat is more black than drak blue and the dress is more yellowish off white than white. Anyways, the fabric is high quality and the costume is really awesome. It's a bit pricey, but it's so worth it.

I got a ton of compliments on my choice of costume!! I had a great time in it, but the sizing was not "true" to your size. You definitely need to order up in size.
