This costume runs a bit small, I got the 1x/2x and I usually wear a 20-22 UK size and it was exactly my size, could have been a bit bigger but it was really alright. Got tons of compliments on the night, everyone loved it, it was a quality costume. Without the petticoat it would have also been a bit too short for me as I'm 1.70 meters tall. Defo get the hat to complete the outfit and my mate got the parrot which went amazingly together.

What you see is what you get with this item! Everyone had compliments for me. It was a great fit, fabric kept me snug and still moved with me. Well made so I will be able to use many more times if I wanted. Worth the money!

Great costume which is fairly true to size. I'm an Australian 16-18 and the 1X-2X fits like a glove (I have a broad back, around there it's a little bit tight but not uncomfortable) The velvet is exquisite, the lace is a nice touch, though contemplating putting more around the hem of the skirt, but then again, me to lace is like a moth to flame! The only let down is the ribbon on the corset is a little cheap. I'll be either sewing my own tie or getting velvet ribbon. The Swashbucklers hat makes the outfit, I'd really recommend buying that as well. Another thing is the length. Personally i'm a little self conscious of short things but that's nothing leggings or pantyhose can't fix. It is short, especially when you bend over and i'm fairly short in stature (5"6-ish). I've got a theme party to go to this Saturday and I can't wait! The costume overall is AWESOME and the fact that it fits extremely well is a massive plus :D

After reading all of the other reviews I knew I had to buy this costume. My only concern was whether or not it would fit. I am a 1X, about an 18 to 20 shirt size and 5'7, and it fit perfectly! I was so glad because I loved it! Great quality, great style and I felt extremely happy in it all night long. Also I ordered at the last minute but the costume came in just two days as promised and everything in one box. Great service!
