This costume is actually really cute, although it does have some things I'm not too impressed with. I bought it for my 2 1/2 year old daughter for Halloween this year, and the best part is that she absolutely LOVES it, wouldn't take it off, and it was super cute on her. One thing people should know is that I don't think it would work very well on it's own (without clothes underneath, which is how I'm planning to use it so she'll be warm outside), because the shoulder area of the costume is quite large, as if a toddler girl had muscleman shoulders! But--that makes it super easy to layer clothes underneath and then the shoulders stay up just fine, so that worked to my advantage since I was looking for something I could layer with. I think that makes it look better in any case, it's a little too skimpy without for my taste, plus the fabric is incredibly thin. The sewing especially on the bodess is pretty messy looking, but hey, it's a Halloween costume and that's usually how they all are, and at least it looks pretty durable. As for the skirt, don't be expecting it to be a skirt, it's a tutu (and obviously is shown to be a tutu from the picture) so therefore it's short and sticks straight out from the waist (super cute). After washing (which went really well by the way) and some fluffing and pulling of the tulle, I was able to get mine to look just like the picture. The hand mitts are kind of on the small side, but they did fit on her ok and she didn't complain. Overall, I was pleased with the purchase, although a little miffed that for the price it wasn't a little better quality. If I can get my daughter to pose long enough I'll add a picture to show how it works with layering.

When I saw this costume, I knew I had to have it. My daughter is 2 so I ordered the 3T/4T size, it barely hits her waste line, but luckily with the poof of the skirt, we can make it work. Also, when it said tutu, I thought I was getting a body suit style outfit, but no, its just a shirt. So on top of the costume, I also had to buy something to go under it. Then tights if I wanted to, which made the costume cost much more than I thought.

The costume is super cute but VERY poorly made. My daughter is thin, so I always buy her toddler size even though she is almost 4. This costume would not stay on. The shoulder straps flap down, (as you can see the child in the photo seems to be holding her costume up!!!) the bodice is very stretched out and wide. The skirt is super short--I would not call it a skirt, looks nothing like the picture. BUT---the ears and gloves are very cute and fit very well--too bad you can't return part of a costume. DO NOT BUY unless your child has VERY wide shoulders and super long torso.

Costume is adorable. But it is definitely closer to a 3T size than 4T. My daughter is 4 yrs old, wears 4T clothing, and it fits her, but it is pretty short. She is average height. She is still going to wear it though...it is VERY cute!
