Title: Poking fun with spears.

This was part of a whole Spartan ensemble we bought (the Deluxe costume and shields too). The spears are quite short, and a little flimsy but for the price that's what you'd expect. However, these shortcomings actually work out pretty well. They're not too big, heavy or cumbersome for lugging around all night, and as they're so small and flimsy no bars or pubs refused us entry carrying them. There is a safety hoop at the tip of the spear which is obviously for hanging it up, but if you're like us you'll snip it off and get rid of it! Goes great with the overall Spartan look, but nothing to get too excited about.

Okay, for the price, I realize you can't ask for much. However, the spear comes with a hanging tab loop that is part of the plastic on the top of the spear head. Even though I tried to cut it off carefully, I still took out a small tip from the spear head. Hopefully, no one will notice but me.
