Title: Excellent Overall Costume

Fast shipping! I received the item 5 days after it was ordered and this included ordering it on late Thursday and getting it on Tuesday. I am a big buy (waist 50, height 5'10") and the tunic an shirt fit great. Wearing costumes is not something I have done since I was a kid and needed a costume for a work function to wear all day for several days. The quality of the material is very nice and will be durable, despite spilling punch on the shirt. The faux boot tops look authentic and when worn with dark brown or black shoes appear like you are wearing boots even from a few feet away. I sweat a lot and since the shirt is lightweight I wore an undershirt that was white and the look is rather nice like that. Since I was wearing the costume all day for work instead of using a string or belt on the pants I used a pair of khaki colored slacks which substitute just fine. Only when doing so the boot top elastic can't keep up too well with the extra fabric so they do slide some; but even if they slide down to half calf the look is still very nice since during that era there were many boots that weren't worn knee high. My only problem with the costume was that the pants need a drawstring or belt (or even a pair of suspenders to help hold them in place if they are going to be worn for more than a couple of hours at a time, hence why I wore slacks. The shirt and tunic are plenty long to cover the pants pockets on a pair of slacks if the belt on the slacks is worn at about bellybutton height (which for me is normal). The vinyl belt had no trouble staying in place and was plenty large on me since I used the third hole on the belt which I had put over my pants belt, other wise I would have used the fourth hold on the vinyl belt. The hat fit my head nicely and stayed in place all day without getting lopsided or top heavy. Thanks BuyCostumes.com for a great fit and long lasting costume that I can use again many times!

The costume was purchased so my husband, a large, tall man could participate in the yearly renaissance festival. I will have to do some alterations to make the piece work. The hat did not fit. Clips will need to be added to the tops of the boot covers to make them stay up over his boots. Velcro will have to be glued on the belt piece to make it lay flat and a drawstring will have to be aded to the pants for comfort.
