Title: Best Costume EVER!

It was the BEST costume ever! I received so many compliments! And as a previous reviewer said...it was fun being the only peacock!! There was definitely preparation needed before I wore it...but totally worth it. Here's what I did to prepare: 1) I took the time to iron everything (including the tail/fan) to get out the inevitable wrinkles (from being in a bag). I placed a thin damp towel over the fabric, so as not to burn anything. 2) One thing I will say is that it is a bit short. I wore a spanx bodysuit/dress thing underneath, just in case. 3) I sewed a large hook & eye where the velcro is on the tail to the back of the neckpiece. Because of the size of the tail, it just wouldn't stay up on it's own. However, because I was at a party that was very crowded, I kept my tail down most of the time and just put it up for pictures, etc. I hope this helps! Though it may sound like I am pointing out flaws, it really wasn't that big of a deal. I just wanted it to be perfect! And it was! Definitely! Now I just have to find a costume for '08 that will top this one!!
