It's hard to find a costume for a 14 year old that isn't sleazy. This is fun, pretty, nice quality and looks great on while not featuring a bustier or mini skirt! My daughter really liked it and the accessories

It is really a cute costume, but my daughter is only 12. She is tall for her age so we needed a junior size. You might want to get a body suit for underneath, since the costume is a little clingy and definitely not warm enough to wear alone. I would suggest a flesh colored body suit to match your child's skin, so it doesn't take away from the detailed straps and the fringe around the neckline.
