Well, what you see is what you get... Not really thought. On an age 12-17 head, it hurts the sides of your temples quite a bit. If you see the indentation below the right side of the visor (also on the left), you have to slip your head through that and it's quite painful. After donning it however, the mask is VERY long, so it's loose and you could have your head up straight and the mask could be looking down. However, if you put some foam into the back so you had pressure and your head was pushed against the front, it would act much better, and more comfortably. The visor looks great from the outside, but from the inside you do not have that much visibility. I'd say maybe a 3-4 inch by 3/4 inch bar right in the center, and another inch in the middle going down (like the T you see there.) So, you can see, but not as much visibility as you'd guess.
