X-Small fits 7"-10" neck or breeds similar in size to: Chihuahua, Yorkshire Terrier, Toy Poodle.
Small fits 10"-14" neck or breeds similar in size to: Beagle, Pug, Jack Russell.
Medium fits 14"-18" neck or breeds similar in size to: Keeshond, Cocker/Springer Spaniel, Border Collies.
Large fits 18"-24" neck or breeds similar in size to: Retriever, Boxer, Labrador, Dalmatian, Rottweiler.

Please note: the size guidelines are for average size dogs of each breed. If your dog is a bit larger or you are unsure of the size we recommend that you measure your dog. If you are still unsure, order a size larger.

I bought this outfit for my black lab and I was surprised how big it was. I bought the large and we are very happy with the fit of the costume. The only small item is the hat but it works.

I decided to get this dog costume when my dog started playing with a similarly dressed stuffed animal. The hat looks so cute on her tiny head. She's hot, hot, hot.
