Title: Everyone loved the parrot

For last year's Halloween party, I fastened a bright green parrot, as shown here, to my red and gold pirate coat, so he perched on my shoulder all evening. He stayed in place but got a bit knocked around, and had to have his head covered with some clear tape, and then he was in pretty good shape for the rest of the evening. Both adults and kids got a big laugh when they would ask me if the parrot could talk, and I replied that he could, but was asleep at the moment, probably after nipping into the captain's rum when no one was looking.

Title: Who is a pretty birdy?

Our pirate theme demanded a parrot or two, and this fine feathered friend does the job. The feathers on all of the colors are quite vibrant, and showed up well even under darkened light conditions in a Halloween window display. As another noted, these are sold individually, and you get what color you get. I received a red and a blue parrot on different orders, which was fine for my color scheme, but if you want a particular color you might not get it. The long ties on the feet make it easy to tie Polly on to a figurine or your own shoulder.
