I picked up one of these on clearance only to find out that it worked intermittently because of a wiring issue. It produces two synthesized voices (Alien and Monster) and amplifies your voice for a third setting. The Monster setting produces an interesting sound effect, but that is the only plus. As with most voice synthesizers, there is a delay between voice input and sound output, which can ruin the effect if the person you're talking to is standing right in front of you. Too bad it doesn't come with an input jack to connect to an mp3 player.
