First, I suggest you buy the fluorescent black lights and not the bulbs. The bulbs dont work as well. However, if you want the bulb, be SURE to get the one with the silver painted on the back so that it directs the light. For some reason BuyCostumes sent me one bulb like this and the other without. The other that didnt have it was completely worthless. But am i supposed to return a $2 bulb? I think not.

The bulb is perfect for Halloween. However, it is not the same shape bulb as shown. If you have a lamp that will only use a standard bulb, this one may not fit. It is more of a spotlight shaped bulb. Wider on the top, not rounded like a standard bulb.
