In this manner women would go about the countryside in Limousin, France. This gown was worn just before Limousin became famous for its limouge porcelain. Made of cotton velveteen and half-lined in various colors of satin, this gown has sleeves that tie on with ribbon -- a nice option for hot days. The bodice does the job of a corset to lift the bosom and hold in the tummy. Shown with Ruffled Chemise (#19816) and Flemish Pill Hat (#19750) - both sold separately. Color: Jewel Black.
