Let me start by saying that the head piece looks nothing like it is pictured. It's a single rubber joke-of-a-mask that looks more like an alien than a Roman warrier. Plus the smell of the mask was unberrable! Front of the costume is PVC and after an hour I was dying of heat. The rest of the costume is ok though given the price ($75), I would expect a much better quality. Overall, I'd say this costume should have cost $40 at most.

This costume is really good. It made me feel the part and was quite comfortable. The only drawback was the rubber helmet that was floppy in parts and was very warm making it difficult to wear for any length of time. The size was a bit deceptive, I ordered an extra large and it fit me really well although the size chart would indicate it to be too big for me. All in all the costume was great and I received lots of great comments and positive remarks. I would recommend this costume to anyone who wants to make an impression at any party.

This is a good looking costume, mostly for the cape and torso area. It looks quite good when it's on. My only gripe was the helmet, it was really a joke. It is soft latex and does not shape well at all once on one's head, my son looked like he had a squid on his head. We bought a firmer Spartan helmet and spray painted it silver. Other than that, it looks really cool. The shin guards are a bit tricky to put on the leg, one of the elastic bands that went around his legs snapped as we tried to put it on, but he had to wear pants underneath because it was a cold night, so I pinned them to his pants. If you intend to wear with bear legs, just pick up some more elastic band to size and tie it if you accidentally snap one of them like we did.

Overall it was a nice costume, but it was a little big on me. (I'm 5'11" and 180 lbs) The helmet was way to big, but I wore a backwards baseball hat underneath which helped a lot.

Overall the costume was pretty good. The helmet was pretty weak. The picture makes it look like it is hard plastic. When really it is made of rubber. Other than that it was good.
