I was expecting from the picture a nice, scary sounding chainsaw but this is not what came. The chainsaw upon arrive was dead even though it said it came with free batteries on the package. On top of that when I put new batteries in, the screw on the back to hold the battery door in was too short and would not screw back in. I had to get electrical tape to hold it together. Then when I did get it to run the sounds were absolutely ridiculous. The scary noise lasts for all of a minute and it sounds like pigs squealing more so than screams. Don't buy this product unless you have no other choice!

This chainsaw rocks ! I am a huge horror buff and texas chainsaw fan, and this thing not only has a real look to it but the added sounds of horror make it a must have.

The sounds were a bit annoying, but we needed it to complete the costume. The blood painted on it did not looked very fake. It was OK for the one night we used it.

I purchased this for my 6year old along with the leatherface costume, when I recieved this i was a little disappointed with the blood effect on it. all it llooks like is someone painted lines for blood on it which makes it not realistic at all. but aside from that flaw my son who is 6 still loves it, he doesnt notice a difference in what real blood is supposed to look like. we like the sounds, they are pretty kewl. i dont feel they are at all annoying the sound clip is relatively short so it doenst get old. like i said my son loves it, but i am going to splatter fake blood on it to mak it more realstic, but it is of great quality very lightweight...so perfect for a child going to be 7 in october. I would just change the rediculous blood effect you have on it.!!!
