I had been waiting for this costume to go on sale since last year. And when it did I snatched it up as soon as I could. Based on the reviews I thought it was going to be too small and too short. However, upon receiving it and trying it on, I found that it was too long and definitely had enough room. I'm 5'3" and it went below the knee. I wear a size 18-20 in a dress, so they were right when it says it fits a 16-22. Even at my size, it was big. I'm glad it came with a belt because it helped with the looseness of the dress. Also, wearing the right kind of bra will help based on how endowed you are. I'm lucky to have a friend who was able to hem it up for me at a more flattering length. I also found that the hat was too plain, but the same friend who helped hem the dress helped me make the hat more unique with slight alterations. She also made a matching choker. Which looks really cute when the whole costume is put together. Add some fingerless gloves, some nylons and some flattering black shoes and you got a complete outfit. But the best part about this costume is how versatile it is. I have a pair of black fairy wings that would go really well with this dress if I didn't wear the hat. So it's nice to know I can wear it again. Over all I really liked the design of the dress and with a few alterations It came out looking just right on me. I'm excited to wear it for my yearly Halloween party and to incorporated it into other costumes.
