I've always wanted to dress up as Cleopatra, but never have wanted to spend the money on an expensive costume. This costume was very reasonably priced and definitely worth the money. I received countless compliments about how "authentic," "beautiful," "cute," and "awesome" I looked. On Halloween night, I met three other women dressed as Cleopatra, and everyone agreed my costume was by far the best. The only negative thing I'd have to say about the dress was that the zipper stuck out along my back, but thankfully the waste band hid it. Also, you have to wear a slip underneath, as the slits reveals way too much. If you want to dress up as Cleopatra, this is the costume you should buy! (Note: I did not wear the headpiece that comes with the outfit.)

Cleopatra Costume

My boyfriend and I went as Cleopatra and Marc Antony for Halloween this year. This Cleopatra costume is gorgeous. It is true to size; I am about 5'11" and a size 10 and the M/L fit me well. The chest ideally fits a B/C cup; I am a B and had to take it in a tiny bit on the sides. The accessories are very pretty as well. I chose to borrow a different collar from a friend, but other than that the only other items that didn't come with the costume were the snake arm band and shoes. This costume got me tons of compliments and it held up the whole night - no wardrobe malfunctions!

You can't always be the Queen!

It is a gorgeous costume but I think you need to be more medium than large for this gown. I am nearly 5'9" and after reading the other reviews listed for this product, I was prepared to wear a slip under the gown. The slit came up WAY high but I was aware of that. There was also a good three or four inches of material sitting on the floor about my feet, so buyers who are shorter, be ready to hem it! If you're bigger than a B or C cup, this is not the dress for you. I was hoping that I could manage in the top but I could not even get the zipper all the way up! Even if I could have, I would have been risking a real wardrobe malfunction. Otherwise, everything else with the costume was gorgeous, which is why I wanted this one instead of the others I have seen. If you want to look like a classic beauty (and willing to make some compromises with the gown) than this is so for you!

while this item looked great in the picture, in real life it covers very little. I could hardly zip the zipper shut (I'm only a size 8). The slit on the dress goes all the way to the bust and the dress is actually more like a sarong. I would have had to use tape to keep it shut. Great quality but be prepared to make a few adjustments.

Okay, so this is the real deal. The s/m is a true size 4. It fits me like a glove. (Really a small-I am 5'3) I wear a 34 C and it is almost too small on top. I can't wear a bra with it, and it is SEE THROUGH!! I had to have bra cups sewn in. The slit is so high that you can see my underwear, and I will have to wear something underneath it. There is not enough material at the hips to sew it or tack it together. The cuffs nearly fell off my wrists. Had to have them altered as well. On the plus side, it is very pretty, well made and the headpiece is really nice. The dress is sexy, but you do not feel like you need to wear it only indoors. It is cheaper here than other sites including Ebay.
