For the price of the costume I was expecting more. The top half of the costume looks pretty good, the bottom half is bulky and uncomfortable. Don't plan on sitting much while wearing the bottoms. The boots were ok, but needed boot covers to go with them. The fasteners for the costume are completely useless. I had to glue industrial velcro into the chest and should peices so it would stay tight to my body. The ribbon provided tore off the first time I tried to put it on. Also if you have large arms, you will have a hard time fitting into the arm pieces. The cape and blue undertights are very good quality. The hair piece is ridiculous and looks goofy, more like Elvis than the last son of Krypton. All in all, the costume looked good after my modifications but for 750 bucks (plus another 250 to ship it) I don't think it was worth it. I'll have to be Superman for the next 5 years to make it worth while.

I purchashed the suit for a fancy dress party in a local country town and wow u can imagine the impact it had. The cape has a perfect weight for the overall feel of the suit. The arm pieces didnt quite strap up with the velcro might fit thinner arms though. The briefs are rubbery typre material and might fall down if movement is erratic e.g. I ran around the yard trying to fly. But an awsome costume perfect for all occasions.

ALL THE PEOPLE CAN NOTICE THE DIFERENCE BETWEEN A NORMAL COSTUME AND THIS ONE. ALL THE KIDS WERE CRAZY WITH THIS COSTUME. BUY IT, THE MOVIE IN COMING!!!

This is a great costume, super high quality. Unlike other costumes in this price range you can wear it for several hours without passing out from hear exhaustion! Since there is noting that covers your face like the Ultra-deluxe Vader, Batman and Spiderman costumes it lets the heat out, not to mention you can have a real conversation while wearing it. It takes a little help to get into, but once you’re in it you’ll be pretty comfortable. I work for BuyCostumes.com so co-workers are use to seeing people in costume, but this costume made everyone stop what they were doing and pay attention. If you don’t like to stand out and get complements then this might not be the costume for you.
