Not only was the costume a hit but buycostumes.com were great in making sure that the costume arrived in time for Halloween. Their customer service representative was extremely thoughtful and immensely helpful. We definitely recommend doing business with this company again.

I bought this for my son for dress up. It's a great outfit and he's going to get a lot of use out of it. The pants are adorable.

This was a last minute purchase for a school performance. The friendly phone operator helped me determine the best shipping for my need and pocketbook. I received the item in two or three days. It is a wonderful costume!! The elastic waist pants and front zip-up top made it easy for my 8 year old to get it on and off by himself. Just two pieces plus a hat, Perfect for kids. An 8 year old doesn't need several pieces of authentic colonial gear for $100. I couldn't be more pleased!!! Do know that this runs small. My son is a thinly built 8 year old (55lbs at 53"). He wears size 8 pants only b/c of length. He can still wear 5/6 shorts and wears a size 6 or 8 in shirts. So, I went up a size and bought him a size 8-10 costume thinking I'd have some "growing room" so it could also be next year's Halloween outfit, however it fits him exactly. I could have gone with the next size up and with the elastic band and zipper top, I would have been fine. So go up at least one, maybe even two, sizes. I would have died if I'd bought his "real" size b/c it wouldn't have fit.
