This was a very impressive wig for the money. The only downside was we bought it for use with the Govenor Hat and with it on the hat was too small. Other than that it was great.

I ordered this wig for fun because this time period has always fascinated me. It's a great wig, truly, but my head is larger so it doesnt cover up my own hair (even w/ a wig cap so I'd probably have to follow their suit and shave a few areas of my hair to credibly wear this...NOT!). The look and texture is amazing for this price, and the only thing I feel could improve it is a big, fat, black-silk bow at the back instead of that sorry excuse that came w/ the packagaing...and of course, a little more room/length for those of us with larger heads. :)

Just received th is wig and I'm pleasantly surprised at how good it looks. The model in the photo is wearing it too far down on the forehead, but when worn properly looks fantastick if you tape down the sides. Good buy for such a price. I recommend it to anyone doing Colonial plays.

The Colonial Wig is a remarkably good wig for such a reasonable price. It looks very much like the illustration, and should be an inexpensive way to look the part of a colonial gentleman. Don't forget to order the wig cap--it helps the wig stay in place.

If you are needing to outfit a man in an 18th Century style of costume, this wig comes ready to go! It has a nice peaked front and it is nicely styled. The synthetic hair is of good quality, and emulates the APPEARANCE of yak hair, which is what these wigs were made from, back in the 18th century. It is a nice warm white, not grayish and cold, as some white wigs can be. It's definitely a winner for me!
