This looked good and went on nice and smooth. It comes out a true red when it's dried. Just a little rough getting it off..

I attempted to use this for my face, arms, chest and back for a Smurfette costume that I worked on for weeks. After doing some considerable reading online I prepared by removing the hair from all of these areas (even with my very fine blonde hair) and applying the aloe vera gel before applying the latex. Even with the help of a friend, and three hours of careful prep and application, they latex would stick to itself (especially the insides if the elbows and underarms) and would snap and tear. I wound up having to remove all of it and went as Kill Bill instead. Very frustrating and disappointing.

I used this to become a smurf. I applied it with my finger to avoid the mess (also tried a silicone spatula but my finger was more accurate). You must be careful not to drip on clothes and not to apply on any hair because it HURTS. Once it dries (takes about 5 minutes for the whole face) it's safe to touch and therefore the safest makeup solution for extensive wear. It removes easily from both face (though if you have ANY facial hair, even a fuzz, you should expect a waxing feeling). I followed the instructions on the bottle to use aloe gel and it helped. A little goes a long way - I covered my whole face three times and used about 1/10 of the bottle (having also wasted a lot of product). My recommendation would be to make it available in smaller bottles and cheaper.

I covered my arms, face, back and chest with the body paint and I still had enough that I could have done it twice more. Do not attempt to paint yourself ... the latex is VERY sticky until it dries and it takes up to an hour to dry. It peeled of fairly well. Putting lotion on thickly before you start definitely helps with the removal but it makes it harder to apply.

I used the blue latex as part of my Halloween costume as Smurfette. Using this required time, patience, and a helping hand. The latex took a while between coats (as expected), was impossible to do on my own without sticking my own arm to the latex on my next, and it was also pretty itchy underneath because I have sensitive skin. The blue skin was a HUGE hit! I won a $200 costume contest and felt like a local celebrity because everyone wanted to take pictures with me. There were only 2 complaints about the stuff. First, I wish the stuff came with a little card saying that you should shave your body hair or put lotion on the skin where you are putting it to prevent it from ripping out every single tiny little baby hair on your body, Secondly, I wish that at checkout the luster dust AND clear coat spray would have been suggested. I used baby powder at the last minute after using google to figure out what I was doing wrong. That should have also been on the instructions, haha. All in all, great product, but maybe a little more help along the way for this lethal stuff would have been greatly appreciated.
