LOOOOVED this Costume!!!!

This year my husband went as the "killer" bee keeper and I was a Honey Bee! Let me just say if you're looking for something sexy or fitted, this is NOT it. I'm 5'8" 150, but someone much larger could wear it. With a little imagination you can make it into something cute and super fun! First, just throw away the stupid cap thing that come with it... unless you have an alien head it's just not going to fit! Also, the stinger and wings were a little flemsy. No biggie... I just cut a small hole in the bottom of the stinger, stuffed, and sewed back. Then I sprayed the wings with heavy starch and let them dry. I also added a blonde fro wig, bug shades, disco ball antennas, big sunflowers... and WaaaLa... Honey Bee ready to party! :) This was seriously the most fun costume ever! Everyone loved it!!!

I was skeptical about purchasing the costume due to the other reviews I read, however when I received all six costumes, all were in great shape; no stains or uneven stitching as read in other reviews. The costume is a bit different than picutured, too, but that wasn't an issue. We all wished the wings were more sturdy or were made out of a different material so they stood straight out from the back of the costume. The hat was comfortable but you do need to wear a turtleneck on top so the hat doesn't look like a bonnet. I was the queen bee and the other five were killer bees with machine guns and black sunglasses. We got best group costume at our party!

Great Costume

When I read some of the reviews I had already ordered this costume. A lot of them said that this costume was unwearable because it is so big. I disagree. Yes, this costume is bubbly and big, but It still fits fine. A bee is supposed to be bubbly around the belly/ waist. It is addequately pictured. If you are looking for a tight bee costume, this isn't the one for you. I, for one, was SUPER excited to find a costume out there that didn't make me look inapropriate while I am trick or treating with my daughter.

Hilarious costume

I love this costume. It's easy, quick, and hilarious. My kids think it's the funniest ever! I can't wait to go trick or treating with them next week! One size would fit most. I am very small and it's great. A little big. I would say it probably wouldn't fit someone that is very large.
