This dinosaur costume was really cute on my 5 month old for Halloween. We had some pictures taken of him in it at 4 months (17-ish pounds), and it fit well then too. The costume is kind of thick, so it's good for a cool Halloween night. It velcros under the neck & down the left side of the "tummy".

My main concern this Halloween was to make sure my lil one did not have a heat stroke in his costume and this worked great!! He was very comfortable and happy in it. I recommend this item.
This costume turned out to be very cute and snuggly! On Halloween, my girl was a slightly bigger-than-average 7 1/2 month-old and crawling. We got the 6-12 months size and it fit about right. It was extra cute when she was stomping around in it. Most people guessed that she was a dinosaur. A few people thought that she was a dragon and one person said Barney. The costume was originally supposed to be purple with green dots. The only problem was that the bottom of the costume had trouble staying down and kept riding above her bottom. Different from the item photo, the actual costume's colors are okay and its hood has elastic around the face.

I have a petite 2yr, old. The costume overall is a little long on her but definately do-able. The problem was the hood part. While the rest of the body is a bit oversized, the hood can barely fit on her head. And the because the costume closes up under the chin where the hood attaches it's just very hard to wear the way its meant to be worn. Its as if they sewed the 6mnth size hood onto the 2t size body. Oh well we are going to try and make it work.
